I: Let's start with your magic - what is the "Gratitude Click" method and how did it come about?
L: The Gratitude Click™ is my signature ritual – a tool I created to instantly shift to a higher frequency.
It's a quick but powerful way to get back to yourself, especially when you're stuck in your head, in fear, or disconnected from your power.
The ritual involves three symbolic clicks, each in front of a different energy center:
The first click is in front of your third eye.
It takes you out of the monkey mind – that cycle of overthinking – and into your intuition.
You move from noise to clarity, from doubt to inner knowing.
The second click is in front of your heart. Here you release fear and self-doubt and move into unconditional love and gratitude.
When you love yourself and feel grateful for life, you are in the most powerful energetic state to manifest what your heart truly desires.
The third click is in front of your womb or your sacral body.
This is the portal of creation.
This is where we hold our Kundalini life energy - the sacred creative essence that manifests ideas, desires, and even life itself.
With this click, you go from stagnation to full force of manifestation.
And if you want to go even deeper, here's the second part:
Place one hand on your heart, the other on your uterus, and smile.
Even a “fake” smile sends signals to your brain that raise your vibrations.
Then take three deep breaths - and with each inhale, think of something you are grateful for, or say a loving affirmation to yourself.
This is a reboot of the nervous system. A sacred pause. A reminder of your strength.
I use it when I'm overthinking or worrying (I have ADHD, so I used to run around in my head a lot).
But also before I train, before I make a decision, or when I'm about to do something new and scary.
Reminds me: I am the master of my mind. I am the creator of my reality.
It was born from the most unexpected and sacred moment of my life – my spiritual awakening – which was a near-death experience.
My spiritual awakening didn’t come during meditation or on a yoga mat. It came through chaos. At that time, I was living like a true nomad – chasing the sun, the festivals, the freedom. I was traveling the world, dancing barefoot on beaches, following the energy of life… and honestly, I was running away from myself.
Deep down, I knew I had a greater purpose. But I still didn't fully trust myself.
I still thought I had to work for other people, prove myself, wait until I was “ready.” I didn’t feel confident enough to do it on my own.
Then came the moment that changed everything.
I was in Tulum, at a beach festival, and someone handed me something I thought was a cigarette.
But it turned out to be DMT. And within seconds I left my body.
What followed was not a blissful spiritual experience.
I saw myself from above, looking down at my physical body on the ground, surrounded by my friends. I was dehydrated, I begged for water, someone handed it to me... I drank, passed out, and died.
And then it happened again. And again.
I was locked in a cycle of watching myself die over and over again, in front of everyone. I felt like I was trapped in hell and my punishment was to watch my own death forever.
I really believed I was gone. I remember seeing news articles. I remember apologizing to my mother in my head.
And I remember the moment I realized: I wasn't ready to leave.
I started talking to myself, out loud in my spirit -
Saying all the things I was afraid to admit.
"I knew I didn't want to go out that night."
"I wasn't listening to my body."
"I stayed because I didn't want to disappoint people."
And then, change.
I started making promises to myself:
"I will never betray my intuition again."
"I will never abandon myself to fit in."
"I will live with purpose. With truth. With love."
And the more I said these things, the more light came back.
Until suddenly… I came back. I opened my eyes. I was alive.
And in that moment, I've never felt such insane gratitude – just to be here.
To breathe.
To feel the sun.
I was literally pinching myself, laughing and crying at the same time.
I couldn't believe I was still alive – and I was so, so happy.
This moment shook me.
It showed me that I had survived the worst-case scenario – and if I could survive that, I could survive anything. As long as I was breathing, I would be fine.
That's when I stopped trusting my power to other people. I stopped waiting to be "ready."
I knew: this is my second chance.
And I will use it to live in truth.
And what happened next… it was magic.
That insane level of gratitude I felt?
It put me in the most powerful state of flow I've ever experienced.
Everything I had dreamed of – opportunities, relationships, career goals – began to manifest so quickly and so easily.
I finally stopped trying to do everything myself. I gave up.
And then my real career began. I discovered my gifts, became an energy healer, and started helping others. And everything expanded.
But — like many of us — when I went through a difficult period, I eventually forgot.
With the busyness of life again... I began to lose gratitude.
I started focusing on what was missing, what wasn't working, what I still needed to "fix."
And I slowly broke away from the flow. From joy.
Until one day I realized...
I had everything I had ever prayed for—and yet I wasn't even present enough to enjoy it.
This moment was a wake-up call.
And then I created Gratitude Click™.
A simple yet powerful ritual to bring me back into this higher frequency.
To shift from the monkey mind, back to trust.
From fear, back to love.
From stagnation and into my divine creative power.
Because when you live in gratitude, you become a master manifestor.
You stop chasing and start receiving.
You come alive again.
I: It has already gained popularity in Europe — and now in the U.S. What is the biggest cultural difference between the two audiences?
L: There is definitely a cultural difference. In Europe – especially in my home country, the Netherlands – people tend to plan far in advance. Most have 9-to-5 jobs, structure their time carefully, and often book tickets for a healing event or session weeks in advance.
In Los Angeles, it's the opposite. Everything is super last minute. People can buy a ticket a few hours before an event – and that's completely normal there, because so much is happening all the time. Everything is spontaneous, dynamic and a little chaotic – in a fun way.
When I first started sharing this kind of spiritual and energy work in the Netherlands, it wasn’t mainstream at all. In fact, I was one of the first people to make this work accessible to the public – and I truly believe I played a big role in normalizing it.
I see so many people in the Netherlands now who are practicing energy work, offering healings and opening up to spirituality. It's beautiful to watch.
Whereas in Los Angeles, it's already part of the culture. Energy healing, breathing exercises, Kundalini - it's widely accepted. So in Europe I felt like a pioneer. In Los Angeles, I feel like I've come into a community that already understands it - which is amazing in a completely different way.
Another big difference I've noticed is in the way people relate to success and self-expression.
In the Netherlands we have this cultural saying: "Doe maar normaal, dan doe je al gek genoeg", which means "Just act normal, that's already crazy enough".
It is deeply rooted - and while it comes from a place of humility, it often prevents people from fully owning their light.
There's this pressure to stay humble, to blend in with the crowd, to not be "too much." If you talk openly about your dreams, your success, or promote yourself, it can be perceived as arrogant - and honestly, people can be quite judgmental about it.
But in the US, especially in places like Los Angeles, it's the opposite.
People celebrate success loudly. It's normal to talk about your victories, your vision, your growth. It's encouraged to be seen and to acknowledge your strength.
This was a big change for me - going from hiding parts of myself to fully committing to my mission and saying:
“Yes, I’m here to help people heal. Yes, I’m creating something powerful. Yes, I believe in what I’m offering.” And that’s good. In fact, it’s necessary if you want to make a real impact.
Another big difference is how they approach personal growth.
When it comes to investing in themselves—whether through coaching, retreats, or treatment—Americans are much more likely to go all in.
They take risks, bet on themselves, see personal development as something worth prioritizing.
In the Netherlands, people are more cautious - both financially and socially. There is often a feeling of: "Do I really need this?" or "What will other people think?".
I: You meet the love of your life and marry him at Burning Man - tell us all about it. Was it really as wild and spiritual as it sounds?
L: Oh yes - it really was so wild and magical. Our own fairy tale.
We met at Burning Man and the connection was instant - it was like I had known him my whole life. The next day was Tutu Tutory and we both showed up wearing the same PINK TUTU! That was the moment I knew, haha! Everyone was telling us that day that we looked like twins... That we looked like a male-female version of each other.
We discovered that we were kindred flames - which is different from soulmates.
It is believed that a kindred flame originates from the same soul divided into two bodies.
The relationship is intense, sometimes challenging, but ultimately designed to awaken you, reflect you, and elevate you.
At that time, we lived on opposite sides of the world.
I was in Ibiza and he was in Orange County, California.
After Burning Man, to be honest, I didn't think it would work.
But the attraction between us was so strong, so undeniable, that we knew we had to try.
A year later, we got married in the desert, surrounded by our families, and cameras were filming us for Dutch television (yes - there's a documentary about our love story!).
At that time, we lived on opposite sides of the world.
I was in Ibiza and he was in Orange County, California.
After Burning Man, to be honest, I didn't think it would work.
But the attraction between us was so strong, so undeniable, that we knew we had to try. We tried long distance for a while, but our connection only grew stronger.
After just six months, we were invited to participate in a national Dutch television show called Ik Vertrek Voor De Liefde (I'm Leaving for Love).
They documented our love story - as we had difficult conversations about our future, our visions, and my move around the world.
And then... exactly one year after we met, our circle closed.
We got married at Burning Man - right where it all began.
In the middle of the desert, we said "yes" to love, to growth, and to creating a magical life together.
NOTE: When I met Zach, I wasn't looking for a relationship at all. I was so happy with myself, my life, my career, my girlfriends... I didn't need anything else and I felt so fulfilled. I realized that this is the most powerful state you can be in to attract someone who already feels whole, so you don't have to depend on each other. If you both feel whole, you can only add value to each other's lives!
I: What do most women misunderstand about manifestation and healing?
L: Many women misunderstand manifestation as simply positive thinking or repeating affirmations - but it goes much deeper than that.
Manifestation is not just about what you say - it is about the energy you hold, the beliefs you embody, and the safety your system feels in receiving what you are calling for.
You can't fake harmony. You can't just think happy thoughts while your body still holds fear, trauma, or old stories.
And we don't just have one body to treat - we have many:
Your physical body, emotional body, energy body, and spiritual body are all part of the manifestation process.
If any of them are blocked, disconnected, or still in survival mode, it can create resistance—no matter how clear your vision board is.
This is why healing is essential.
You need to get into the places you've been avoiding.
Feel what is raw.
Clear out what is not yours.
And restore trust - not only in the universe, but also in yourself.
So many women try to manifest love, success, abundance - but deep down they don't feel worthy of it or sure they don't actually hold it.
But once you do the healing work and all parts of you align? Then manifestation becomes effortless. Then you become truly magnetic.
It's not about forcing yourself. It's about remembering who you are - and calling out your desires from a place of wholeness and truth.
You're known for helping women release deep-seated trauma and limiting beliefs. What's one limiting belief you've personally had to overcome - and how did you do it?
One of the biggest limiting beliefs I had to overcome was about my self-esteem.
For so long I believed I wasn't good enough.
I thought I wasn't smart enough, I couldn't focus, I was always distracted and daydreaming too much. I felt "too different" to be successful - or really seen.
I grew up with ADHD, which made school really difficult. I couldn't concentrate and was constantly told to "just focus" - but I couldn't. So I started to believe there was something wrong with me.
I also struggled with how I perceived myself physically. I felt ugly. I didn't think I was anything special. At the time, I was working at a local market snack bar, selling fries. People would sometimes tell me I should be a model—and I would literally laugh and think they were crazy. My self-esteem was so low.
And although from the outside I was always perceived as fun and happy...
Deep down, I was kind of depressed.
I was living in the Netherlands, in the cold and rain, surrounded by people who felt grumbling and closed off.
I knew in my heart that I was destined for more - but I didn't know how to get there.
But one thing was certain: I had a MAGNETIC DESIRE to create a better life for myself.
What I didn't realize then... was that the very thing I was "running away from" -
the dreaming, the visualizing, the fantasy of a better life -
It would become my superpower. I always saw myself on tropical beaches, creating content, modeling, living a free life with like-minded people around me who loved and supported each other.
This is the energy I now teach in my manifestation work:
To see it. To feel it. To believe it before the world reflects it back at you.
And through deep healing work—meditation, energy work, Kundalini—I slowly began to rewrite those beliefs.
Now I help other women do the same:
To free themselves from the stories that were never theirs...
And to remember who they really are.
I: What is your morning ritual - from the first thing you do to how you protect your energy throughout the day?
L: My morning ritual actually starts the night before.
Before I go to bed, I do a little "brain dump" - I write down everything that's on my mind, all the tasks I know I need to get done the next day. Then I write down five things I'm grateful for and set one big intention for the next day.
This does two really powerful things:
It clears mental chaos so my mind can truly rest.
It programs my subconscious to start finding solutions and aligning with that intention while I sleep – all from a position of gratitude.
Then, when I wake up, I make sure I don't grab my phone right away.
Instead, I take a few deep breaths, feel my body, and reconnect with the intention I set for myself the night before. Here's my little trick:
I visualize my day backwards. I imagine it's the end of the day and I'm already back in bed - I reflect on how amazing the day was.
How everything went smoothly, how I felt in harmony, confident, supported. It's like you're using your memory to manifest your reality – as if it's already done.
Then I do my Gratitude Click™ ritual to bring my energy into harmony.
Then I move into meditation.
During meditation, I connect with my manifestations. I visualize them. I feel them. I activate the energy of what I am calling upon. (I often meditate with my husband in the morning.)
Then I drink warm lemon water with Celtic salt and make my Mushy Coffee - our functional mushroom coffee blend that my husband and I created as a replacement for regular coffee.
Traditional coffee made me anxious and jittery. It sapped my energy and worsened my attention deficit disorder.
So we created something better. Our blend tastes like hot chocolate, helps me focus, balances my gut, calms my nervous system, opens my heart, and gives me grounded energy that lasts.
This has become such a sacred part of my mornings - it's a game changer for me.
And that's one of the reasons I feel so energized and in flow every day.
And on my perfect morning... I also work out.
I love going to that Booty gym down the street!
But I'll be honest - not every day feels like this. Since I train a lot of clients in Europe, my mornings are often filled with calls.
So some days my workout is later - and that's okay.
My biggest goal is to always stay connected to my energy - even if the routine looks different every day.
I: You often talk about feminine power in your work. What does the divine feminine mean to you in today's world?
L: In today's world, we are so conditioned to fight, prove ourselves, and remain in the masculine energy of pressure, control, and performance - especially as women.
But true female power is not about doing more - it is about being more than ourselves.
The Divine Feminine is permission to slow down and listen.
To lead with love, to trust your body, to express your emotions, and to create from a position of harmony and soul - not of pressure and burnout.
It is softness and strength in one breath.
It is intuition, emotion, creativity, beauty, and flow.
This is the power of receiving, not just giving. It's in the way we make space for others, the way we care for others, the way we attract with magnesium instead of chasing them away. And most of all, it's in the way we reclaim our worth - not because of what we do, but because of who we are.
This is the energy I help women activate. Because when a woman remembers her feminine essence, she becomes magnetic, powerful, and unstoppable - not through force, but through frequency.
PS: I have a FREE meditation to protect your energy on Instagram!
I: What role does gratitude play in your success - both in your healing journey and in your business?
L: Gratitude is the golden thread through every chapter of my life.
Even before my spiritual awakening, I was already deeply grateful when social media gave me the opportunity to break free from the mold. It allowed me to travel the world, meet amazing people, and live exactly the life I had imagined as a little girl.
I truly believe that one of the reasons I was able to attract so much – love, freedom, adventure – was because I lived in a constant state of gratitude and humility.
But the moment that really changed everything was my near-death experience. That's when gratitude stopped being a mindset—and became something I felt in every cell of my body. When I returned to my body after that moment, I had never felt so grateful just to be alive.
To breathe. To feel the sun. To have another chance.
This experience marked the beginning of my profound healing, my personal transformation, and the creation of my new career – one that is rooted in service, purpose, and soul… instead of an escape from myself.
Gratitude is still the frequency I return to every day – it is what fuels my success, my joy, my manifestations, and the work I can now share with the world.
I: For a woman who is just beginning her journey of self-love or healing and feels completely lost – what is the first step?
L: If you are just beginning your journey towards self-love or healing, the first thing I would invite you to do is be radically honest about your dream life.
Ask yourself:
What do I really want?
What do I want my life to look like?
How do I want my days to feel?
Be very clear. Write everything down - not as a hope or a wish, but as if it is already happening.
Write it in the present tense: “I wake up feeling calm and inspired. I live in a home that nourishes me. I do work that I love. I feel confident, supported, and free.”
Then pay attention to what appears.
Because once you state your desires, fears will follow.
You may hear voices in your head like:
"This is unrealistic."
"I'm not good enough."
"Who am I to think I can have this?"
This is your internal programming.
So your next step is to determine what's stopping you:
— What fears are holding you back?
— What is your negative internal dialogue?
— How do you self-sabotage?
Write them down too. Then—one by one—rewrite them into empowering beliefs.
Turn “I’m not smart enough” into “I’m always learning, growing, and capable of anything.”
Because your thoughts create your reality. EXTRA BONUS POINTS: if you say the affirmations out loud to yourself in the mirror. Mirrors are portals, use them to reprogram yourself and visualize the highest version of yourself in your reflection as you say them.
So you need to clarify:
- Where are you now?
- Where do you want to be?
- What thoughts have brought you to your current life?
- And what new thoughts will lead you to your dream life?
To create the personal reality you desire, you must change your inner identity.
This means changing your beliefs, emotions, and energy—because manifestation is about becoming in vibrational alignment with what you want.
And one more thing:
Make sure your dreams come from a place of love and soul—not ego or trauma.
Manifest what is truly in line with your purpose, not what you think will "prove" your worth.
Then the real magic begins.
If you could whisper one truth to every woman on the planet right now… what would it be?
You are already enough.
You don't have to do more, prove more, fix more, or become someone else to be worthy of love, success, or happiness. Everything you seek is already within you—your strength, your beauty, your intuition, your purpose. The world has told you to shrink, to hurry, to numb, to silence your truth—but your soul has never forgotten who you really are.
So please, stop waiting. Stop doubting. Stop putting yourself down to be accepted. You are not too much. You are not behind. You are not broken. You are the cure. You are the portal. You are the gift. And now it is safe… to rise and SHINE.
